We talk to Ascension Parish President Tommy Martinez about parish updates and upcoming events. The Parish has finally gotten funding to start the parish-wide sewer system that will bring us into compliance with DEQ. It will be a long process, but it will eliminate faulty subdivision package plants and make sure that all effluent gets treated and routed properly. Trust me, it's a big deal. We also talk about the upcoming Louisiana Festival of Festivals, an event that will take place at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales November 11 - 14. Starting with a Veteran's Day Parade, the event will host booths from festivals around Louisiana, food from all over the state and Louisiana artists.
